His research focuses on the exchange of knowledge between the USA and France regarding park systems—networks of parks connected by parkways. He examines the projects of Frederick Law Olmsted and French landscape architects and engineers of the mid-19th and early 20th centuries, exploring how their designs were shaped by transatlantic influences.
