Tony Chiu

MArch graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Tony Chiu is a MArch graduate from CUHK. With an earlier academic background in landscape architecture, his work bridges architecture, landscape and urban studies, with experience in material systems and real-world implementation.

His academic and professional experience includes comparative urban research, material R&D, full-scale architectural prototyping through innovation and commercialisation testing within industry and startup environments, industry exhibitions, and architectural and design practice in Hong Kong.

His academic project “Street, Landscape & Densification in Wan Chai” was selected to represent Hong Kong and was named Student Project of the Year at the 2025 ARCASIA Student Design Competition at the Asia-Pacific regional level.

His current work focuses on socially grounded design, public life and everyday urban environments, with an interest in how architecture, landscape, urban strategies and scalable tangible products, services or business, bridging disciplines and can create broader long-term community, urban value.
