Jeroen van Ameijde

Assistant Professor and Director of the MSc in Urban Design programme at the School of Architecture, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Jeroen van Ameijde is Associate Professor and Director of the MSc. in Urban Design Programme at the School of Architecture, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). With his Liveable Cities Research Group, he focuses on the interaction between urban design, human activities and quality of life in high-density urban environments. He previously worked in architecture practices in The Netherlands, New York and London, developing large-scale housing and master planning projects while teaching at the Architectural Association and the Bartlett, UCL. He is a recipient of CUHK’s Vice-Chancellor's Exemplary Teaching Award and an executive committee member with The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA).
